Since marketing is a growth-focused profession, it is more important than ever, but more CMO roles are falling under other CXO positions. Marketers who are “generalists” with operations + finance backgrounds tend to be more valuable as the digitization of the marketing profession advances.

The Coca-Cola Company whipped up the perfect formula by partnering with The Bear showrunner, Christopher Storer, to air a delightful 90 second ad during the 75th Annual Emmys. 

Alex Ames, Senior Director of Content and Creative Excellence at Coca-Cola North America stated, "When we saw The Bear take home seven trophies at the Golden Globes, we knew we had to run the longform spot on this important night for the television industry.” 

This fast turnaround was the right call since everyone’s eyes are on The Bear, winner of six Emmy trophies, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
