August 2019 - Show + Tell


For our Show + Tell breakfast, we invited six marketing leaders from different industries - The Coca-Cola Company, Salesforce, Atlanta Braves, ParkMobile, High Museum of Art, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber - to share a recent successful marketing initiative.

May 2019 - Marketing Talent

Annelle Barnett, the CEO of Setup’s recruiting partner Marketing Mob, lead a discussion on how to find, select, and retain marketing talent. Marketers from both the client and agency side engaged in the conversation with best practices and insights regarding recruiting top-tier marketing talent.

February 2019 - Speed-Dating

December 2018 - New Year, New Marketing Initiatives

This quarter, the breakfast served as a reflection of 2018 marketing efforts. Attendees discussed many topics, including the value of specialist agencies, the growing number of in-house agencies, and the key differences between client-side marketers and agency-side marketers.

May 2018 - Marketing Tools

To lead this breakfast’s discussion, Setup invited Christien Louviere from SellPersonal to discuss marketing tools and the best practices for selecting a proper tool for a company.  Louviere answered several questions about how he helps clients evaluate and select new tools and the process to replace tools.

February 2018 - Marketers Speed-Dating

This year, we brought back our famous "speed-dating" format, pairing senior brand marketers with each of our agency partners for five minutes. We gave each table conversation cards - but the conversations grew organically! Although speed dating can seem “forced,” attendees described the event as “easy-going.” The format  encouraged natural conversations with people who may not have met otherwise. December 2017 - Creating a Customer Experience Breakfast

August 2017 - Creativity in the Workplace Breakfast

Marketing is all about creativity. The goal of this  particular event was all about igniting creativity in attendees.  The discussion revolved around how to stay creative in marketing. The relationship between marketing agencies and their clients has always been notoriously disconnected. Marketers are known as masters of mass communication, yet ironically, many are amateurs when it comes to communicating with one another.
