Marketers Toolbox - Sendible VS SocialOomph

Who?

Sendible and SocialOomph are social media management tools that increase productivity for marketers.

Pricing?

Sendible has multiple pricing plans that offer different features depending on the business and size of the team. The Micro plan for solopreneurs helps one user schedule unlimited posts automatically for 12 services. The Small plan for small businesses helps teams become more productive and effective all the while increasing their audience. For $99/month, the plan provides six reports and 48 services for three users. The Medium plan for growing agencies offers 105 services, 35 reports, and 7 users for $199/month. The most advanced offer at $299/month is for large teams who need up to 60 reports, 192 services, and 12 active users. Users can sign up for free to determine if this tool is the right fit for their company.

SocialOomph offers free services to manage social media accounts and charges fees for additional productivity enhancements. The free services include drafts, tracking, scheduling, messaging, and Twitter features. A Professional plan starts at $17.79/half month and offers more functions.

User Friendly?

Users are able to manage multiple accounts with ease. Sometimes the loading time is long and there are ads from Sendible, but the social media management tool overall is an effortless system that increases traffic and improves a user’s social media presence.

SocialOomph is easy to use for managing and scheduling social media posts, but it may not always meet a user’s needs. The interface is simple and bland. The tool also limits the user to fewer social media networks and some reviewers have claimed that Facebook considers the tool “spam.”

Features?

Sendible offers integration with multiple social platforms and blogs, scheduling large files and images, automation, analytical reports, customization, team workflows, mobile application, and content libraries.

SocialOomph primarily focuses on Twitter. It’s features include keyword searches, scheduling posts, direct mail and messaging via tweets, following quality followers, and tracking and monitoring brand mentions and activity. Social Oomph increases engagement with the user’s audience with the auto-responder feature. Though it is a helpful tool for productivity, other tools may include more features for a cheaper price.

Winner?

Sendible is significantly more expensive, but it offers all of the features that SocialOomph is lacking. SocialOomph is well suited for a simpler, cheaper social media plan with less spend. Sendible’s offerings and integrations provide marketers with the tools to improve their social media content and scheduling instantly and easily.

Every company and every tool is  different. Each tool presents a variety of capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately gets the job done. Since no tool is perfect, remember to think about the goals of the company, which features are imperative to the company’s success, and why the tool is needed in the first place. After an evaluation of personal goals, feel free to use the trials of each tool and assess which tool best fits with the staff and company. Here are several other social media management tools to consider when making the selection.

The chances a company can afford to hire a professional photographer every time a visual is needed for a graphic or ad design are slim. To counteract this, companies buy photo subscriptions for up to $500 for professional photos - something that may be out of the budget range for some marketers.

Fortunately, there are several free stock image tools for the social media managers, content creators, bloggers, graphic designers, and ad creators who need to design at a rapid pace but may lack a hefty marketing budget or photography experience.
