Marketers Toolbox: Calendly

Coming to you straight out of ATV is one of our favorite tools, Calendly.

Calendly is for anyone who's ever experienced the frustration of a never-ending back-and-forth email chain to cross-check calendars and find mutual availability for a call, a meeting, or a lunch date.

We like this tool a whole lot –– it allows us to share our calendar link to prospects and clients so they can "book" some time that fits our schedules. Even better is that Calendly has several time slot options (if you're paying for a subscription) so you can customize your communication.

Anyone with a link can click on a day that works for them, and then select a time slot that fits their schedule, which looks like this:

As one of the first to sign up for Calendly, we've inadvertently marketed the wonders of this product to others by demonstrating its ease of usability. This tool makes it so much easier for invitees to schedule their own time with you, and to work around your busy schedule.

You can use this tool for free if you're continuously booking 30-minute time slots, for example. Since we have quite a few different types of meetings that we book with different prospects (15-minute intro calls, 30-minute follow-up calls, 45-minute coffee dates, 60-minute lunches, etc.) it makes sense for us to pay the $10/month per user (or $96/year per user) subscription.

The subscription also gives us the option to build in buffers between meetings, send email reminders, and tailor the invitee contact form fields to have specific information when they book.

The simple fact is, this tool makes our lives easier. Calendly, we love thee!
