Why Setup is sponsoring 48in48

Setup is all about connecting brands and agencies together and improving their relationship. We also care about our community, so when Jeff Hilimire started talking to me about what would become 48in48 some months ago, I asked how we could help. 

The premise of 48in48 is simple - like startup hackathons, we will build 48 websites for 48 Atlanta non-profits in 48 hours.

The event will take place in the General Assembly space in the Ponce City Market here in Atlanta from October 2-4:

Setup has offered to write a blog post for EACH of the 48 startups as part of our sponsorship commitment. We are looking for volunteers to help in three areas:

  • Front End Developers (with skill in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

  • Designers

  • Writers
