The Setup Agency Mastermind groups are curated, peer-to-peer mentoring groups of marketing agency (10-50 FTEs) owners who meet monthly to discuss, brainstorm, support, and advise each other to solve problems and develop personally or professionally. At its core, the Setup Agency Mastermind groups are designed to help agency owners find camaraderie and guidance from a group of like-minded peers, steadily led by Joe Koufman, an expert in marketing agency growth.
Core tenets:
Growth - members share a joint commitment to grow their agencies and themselves
Experience sharing - rather than sharing advice, each member shares direct experiences
Peer support - each member works to help the other members achieve success

What is included:
Three monthly calls:
Forum Experience - a group of 6-8 peers with (mostly) non-competitive agency disciplines will meet monthly (moderated by Joe Koufman) to exchange ideas and experiences. On each call, one agency leader will do a “deep dive” to get feedback on a challenge one of the agency faces.
Coaching Calls - a call with each individual agency (and its senior leadership, if needed) conducted by Joe Koufman and his team - to address specific challenges the agency is trying to overcome.
Growth Workshops - a monthly workshop (also open to the larger agency team) will be held where Joe Koufman and his team will cover agency growth strategies.
Value add:
Exclusive Community - a (private) Setup Agency Mastermind Slack group will provide like-minded agency leaders a forum to support one another with dilemmas and share ideas, tools, and resources.
Leads and Needs - forum members and Setup will be encouraged to share leads since they are largely non-competitive.
In-Person Event - annually, Setup will bring together the Mastermind Group peers to meet in Atlanta.

Who is eligible to participate?
Equity owners of marketing agencies with between 10 and 50 full-time employees, who are willing to fully commit to one 1-hour and two half-hour video calls monthly. Key agency team members will have opportunities to participate in some events.
How long is the commitment?
The minimum commitment is twelve months. Because trust is built over time, it is essential to maintain consistency among the Forum members. After the initial twelve months, members can continue on a month-to-month basis.
What does the Setup Agency Mastermind group cost?
The cost is $1,500/month per agency/Forum member.
Timing?
The first Forum launched in May 2024, but a second forum is being formed now.
What is the time commitment?
The Forum will meet for 1 hour each month, the growth workshops will be 30-45 minutes each month, and the coaching calls will be 30 minutes. The total monthly time commitment should be less than 2.5 hours - all in.
Will the in-person event cost extra?
Yes, there will be a fee for an in-person meeting held in Atlanta in October 2024 due to facility rental fees, speaker fees, food/beverage, etc.
